Property Accountant at Colonnade BridgePort

Join Colonnade Bridge Port as a Property Accountant managing financial operations for a diverse property portfolio across Canada. This role focuses on delivering precise financial statements and managing cash flow.

In this dynamic position, you will report to a Property Accounting Supervisor and collaborate closely with a team to ensure timely financial reporting. Your main responsibilities include preparing institutional level financial statements, managing tenant charges, and calculating CAM & Tax recoveries. You'll engage with owners to interpret financial data and coordinate budgets for various properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

• Ensure compliance with accounting practices and owner requirements

• Assist with annual operating budgets in coordination with the Core Team

• Manage property cashflow and monitor receivables/payables

• Prepare year-end working files for audits

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, property experience preferred

• Proficient in MS Office 365 and Yardi 7s software

• Strong bilingual communication skills (English & French)

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Ability to work independently with team support
