Senior Controller at CPAC

Take the lead as a Senior Controller at CPAC, Canada's sole national bilingual media outlet focused on politics. Oversee all accounting functions and strategic financial planning to support Canadian democracy.

As a vital member of CPAC’s senior leadership team, you will manage financial and business affairs, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial operations.

Your role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, all while guiding the accounting team toward optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accuracy in financial entries and adherence to internal controls

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for management

• Present budgets and financial forecasts to leadership

• Manage cash flows and track KPIs effectively

• Coordinate year-end statements and audit preparations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field

• 5+ years’ experience in senior finance roles

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
