Position: Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration ConnectWell Community Health
Location: Carleton Place

Connect Well Community Health is seeking a Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration, 35 hrs/week (1.0 FTE). This position provides comprehensive benefit coverage, including HOOPP.

Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration

Position Summary: The Senior Accountant, Client Funds & Trust Administration manages client funds and trust accounts for approximately 700 individuals and families, ensuring accurate administration, compliance, accountability, and strong financial controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CPA designation (or working towards)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience
  • Experience managing client funds, trust & fund accounting, government-funded programs, or similar environments
  • Experience developing and implementing financial processes, internal controls, and financial reporting systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Experience in the non-profit, health, social services, community services, or government-funded sectors
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an asset

Reporting Relationship: The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting.

Salary Range: $68,200 to $85,200
