Our Ottawa office is looking for a Manager to join the Domestic Tax practice. This is a replacement position and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements for a wide variety of clients including small and medium enterprises
• Identify, develop and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities
• Prepare and review tax reorganizations and corporate, trust and estate tax returns
• Build positive working relationships with clients
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
• Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of the team

• You hold a Master’s or In‑Depth Tax Program
• CPA is a nice to have
• You have 5 years’ experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 2 years
• You have extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, as you will interact with clients across Eastern Canada
• You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
• You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills

The expected range of compensation for this role is $82,000 - $132,000 annually.
