Step into a vital financial role as a Property Accountant at Colonnade Bridge Port, overseeing financial accounting for properties across Eastern Canada.

Your role will focus on preparing financial reports and ensuring operational accuracy.

In this position, you will report to a Property Accounting Supervisor and be a part of a vibrant team dedicated to accurate financial management. Key tasks include preparing institutional financial statements, collaborating with property owners, and managing annual operating budgets. You will also ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable and payable, enhancing the portfolio's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and owners' requirements

• Work with the Core Team on budgeting decisions

• Monitor cashflow and tenant charge accuracy

• Complete year-end files for audits

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of property accounting experience

• Proficient in MS Office 365, especially Excel and Outlook

• Familiarity with Yardi 7s preferred

• Bilingualism (English & French) an advantage

• Strong critical thinking and organizational abilities
