Hybrid Cycle Accounting Clerk

Process full-cycle accounting tasks as an Accounting Clerk with Taggart Realty Management in Ottawa, using Excel and reconciliation skills in a hybrid role.

Reporting to the Commercial Development Controller, this Accounting Clerk supports accurate, timely financial operations. The work includes invoice processing, bank reconciliations, HST filings, journal entries, and vendor communication. The position maintains documented processes, controls, records, and compliance across operations.

• Verify, code, approve, and enter vendor invoices
• Coordinate job cost coding with development teams
• Process cheque runs and incoming cash receipts
• Prepare bank and corporate credit card reconciliations
• Maintain accounting files, spreadsheets, and financial records

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• One to two years of relevant experience preferred
• Basic Excel proficiency and deadline management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
