Reporting to the Director, Finance and Administration, the Accountant provides finance and administrative support within a boutique Canadian consulting firm. The firm works in fairness advisory, procurement, complex outsourcing arrangements, and facilities management. This position suits candidates with progressive accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide finance and administrative support to staff and consultants
- Book expenses and revenue accurately
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare client invoices and follow up on expenses
- Complete account, project, and productivity analysis and reporting
- Post-secondary education in finance or accounting
- Minimum three years of progressive accounting experience
- Secret Level Security Clearance or ability to obtain
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Independent, loyal, trustworthy, and mature approach
