BDO is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Canadian Tax team. The successful candidate will manage tax returns for personal, corporate, and trust clients while engaging in client audits. Leveraging your Canadian tax expertise, you will develop strategies that enable clients to seize business opportunities, all within a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review various tax returns and forms

• Research tax issues and draft client communications

• Manage tax audits and appeals with authorities

• Develop strategies for optimizing client tax positions

• Conduct risk analysis and document tax filing positions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• CPA designation completed or in progress

• Experience in public accounting (3-5 years)

• Familiarity with Canadian tax legislation

• Strong attention to detail in all work
