Robert Half is partnering with an organization that's looking for a full charge Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This is a full-time/permanent role on site.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial management.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and administer employee benefits, staying informed of statutory payroll updates.
• Prepare and submit T4 forms and remittances to the appropriate authorities.
• Verify the accuracy of invoices and follow up with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Enter bills, prepare payments to suppliers, and manage cheque deposits and signatures.
• Reconcile credit card statements and post monthly journal entries.
• Provide support to the Service department by entering and managing software data.
• Monitor and coordinate scheduled maintenance for fleet vehicles.
• Generate and prepare service quotes for departmental needs.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring all records are accurate.
• Assist management with various financial tasks and provide expertise in bookkeeping practices.
• Collaborate on additional duties related to financial operations as required.
