Position: Political Constituency Assistant Role
Location: Kemptville

Make a difference in your community as a Constituency Assistant at the Office of MP Barrett. Support constituents and manage communications while gaining valuable political experience.

This 6-month Constituency Assistant position offers a unique opportunity with MP Barrett's office. You'll manage incoming communications, assist constituents with various inquiries, and facilitate important office functions. With a focus on relationship-building and efficient service delivery, you will work collaboratively to support the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain tracking systems for requests

• Provide detailed assistance to constituents on various issues

• Organize the Member's calendar and coordinate events

• Follow up with government services on behalf of constituents

• Draft letters and responses on general policies

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Prior office or administrative support experience

• Strong client service and detail-oriented approach

• Experience working collaboratively with team members

• Familiarity with the Conservative Party's policies and political context
