Planning Clerk

Position: Planning Clerk with North Grenville
Location: Kemptville

Step into the full-time role of Planning Clerk with the Municipality of North Grenville, where you will provide critical support to the Planning and Development Department. This position is ideal for someone skilled in customer service and administrative tasks, helping to connect the community with planning resources.

In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Planning and Development, acting as the frontline communicator for planning inquiries. Your responsibilities will include processing planning applications, managing correspondence, and assisting in committee functions. Organizational skills are essential as you maintain accurate records and support public events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for the Planning Department

• Review and log planning applications accurately

• Coordinate external notices and ensure effective communication

• Assist with billing and payment processing for applications

• Prepare materials for committee meetings and minute-taking

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or similar

• Minimum of two years relevant work experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, GIS knowledge preferred

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license and Police Records Check
