Become a critical part of Extendicare Medex as a full-time Attendance Coordinator, responsible for managing employee schedules and ensuring quality resident care at our Ottawa facility.
This permanent full-time role at Extendicare Medex requires your expertise in staff scheduling, time tracking, and administrative support. You will take charge of unfilled shifts, facilitate staffing solutions, and assist in essential leave administration activities, contributing to smooth operations at this long-term care home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign and maintain staff schedules using Workday Scheduling System
• Manage unfilled shifts and employee absences
• Coordinate staff coverage through outreach to employees and agencies
• Validate scheduled hours for payroll approvals
• Assist with new resident administration processes
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in office administration or equivalent
• Experience in long-term care or related healthcare field
• Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Attention to detail with analytical abilities
