In this role, you will report directly to the Executive Director, enriching the synagogue's operations through effective office management and bookkeeping. Your key contributions will include maintaining member engagement, coordinating programs, and ensuring accurate financial reporting while respecting confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general office coverage including correspondence and phone calls
• Oversee membership database and engage with congregants
• Coordinate meetings, events, and support for programs
• Prepare and maintain financial records and statements
• Assist with developing office policies and managing the budget
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong understanding of non-profit dynamics
