Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Immigration Assistant / Case Worker to support the preparation and management of Canadian immigration applications.

The role includes assisting with immigration forms, reviewing and organizing supporting documents, maintaining client files, tracking deadlines, communicating with clients regarding outstanding requirements, and providing general case-processing and administrative support.

Duties
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of Canadian immigration applications and supporting documents.
  • Assist with reviewing client documents for completeness and identifying missing information or documentation.
  • Complete and update immigration forms.
  • Organize, scan, combine, rename and manage electronic documents and PDF files.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic client files.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding documents, information, signatures and routine updates.
  • Track Final date to receive applicationss, document requests and important file dates.
  • Assist with online application portals and document uploads under supervision.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, checklists, templates and document requests.
  • Perform general administrative and case-management duties as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client and business information
Skills / Requirements
  • Minimum post-secondary diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook is required.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Acrobat is required.
  • Comfortable working with online portals, electronic files and cloud-based systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a Canadian immigration setting is preferred
    .
  • Knowledge of Canadian immigration forms and processes is an asset.
Compensation
  • Wage: $20.00 per hour.
  • Hours: Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
