CSIS is seeking an experienced Library Technician to enhance open-source library services. Ideal candidates will engage in cataloguing, acquisitions, and client support. This role involves managing diverse materials, ensuring accuracy in an integrated library system, and offering assistance to clients looking for information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and catalog materials per CSIS standards
• Evaluate and process acquisitions from suppliers
• Ensure financial accuracy and reconcile expenditures
• Provide reference support and troubleshoot system issues
• Maintain circulation and serial control records
Requirements:
• Completion of Library Science or Information Science diploma
• Two years of experience in records or client services
• Familiarity with integrated library systems
• Teamwork and organizational skills
• Judgment and troubleshooting abilities
