Coordinate nursing schedules for Access Healthcare Services Inc. in Ottawa while supporting clients, families, care providers, and referral partners. This on-site role runs Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1600.
The Client Services Coordinator schedules nursing field staff according to client care needs. You will coordinate communication among field staff, clients, families, service providers, and Home and Community Care Support Services. The position also supports the client services team and completes administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Process new referrals and incoming updates for relevant teams
- Schedule care providers effectively according to client needs
- Communicate scheduling changes with patients, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate provider availability records in Alaya Care
- Respond to inquiries, faxes, emails, and time-sensitive matters
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Home health scheduling experience highly desirable
- One year of office, medical administration, or scheduling experience an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize accurate data
