Help deliver The Salvation Army’s seasonal toy program through packing, sorting, volunteer scheduling, and accurate records in a temporary position.
This Christmas Toy Shop Worker assists Community and Family Services with seasonal distribution activities. Responsibilities include preparing the program, handling donated toys, organizing volunteers, and receiving calls from clients. The assignment supports Christmas operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize setup and takedown for toy distribution activities
- Coordinate volunteer scheduling and organization
- Process donated toys for distribution
- Pack and sort toys for program delivery
- Maintain clear, organized, and accurate statistical records
- High school completion or equivalent qualification
- Related community-based program experience is a definite asset
- Honest, courteous, punctual, and professional conduct
- Ability to adapt and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds
