Become a part of OPENLANE as a Mechanical Service Advisor. This position combines customer service, administrative duties, and technical support to streamline operations.
We're looking for a Mechanical Service Advisor with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. Your responsibilities will include sourcing parts, preparing repair orders, and monitoring workflow for automotive technicians. Ideal candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to enhance customer experiences in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address customer inquiries while providing service information
• Promote OPENLANE's mechanical services to customers
• Accurately prepare mechanical service quotes
• Manage repair orders and communicate with technicians
• Perform necessary administrative tasks for shop operations
Requirements:
• 2-3 years' experience in a service advisor role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to manage multiple requests efficiently
• Previous working knowledge of automotive repair desirable
• Familiarity with Mitchell estimating system preferred
