Carleton Place Ford is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the automotive industry and wants to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while progressing through their apprenticeship.

• Assist licensed technicians in performing vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Complete oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and basic vehicle services.
• Learn and follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety standards.
• Perform vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly use tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
• Support the Service Department in achieving productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
• Participate in training and apprenticeship development programs.
• Follow all dealership policies and workplace safety requirements.

• Registered Apprentice Technician or willingness to register.
• Strong interest in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience working on vehicles.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and equipment as required.

• Competitive hourly wage of $18.00–$20.00 per hour
