Used Car Manager Pay Rate: $110000 - 1600000 per year Thor Motors Orillia

Thor Motors is a locally owned Ford dealership in Orillia. We're hiring a Used Car Manager to own our pre-owned department from acquisition to delivery, and to desk deals with our sales team. Expected annual compensation is $110,000–$160,000, uncapped.

What you'll do

• Stock the lot from trades, the service lane and owner equity (Auto Alert), Ford lease returns, private buys and auction
• Appraise and price to market daily in vAuto and run a 45/60/90-day aged-unit policy
• Manage recon time and cost with Service; get every unit online within 48 hours of frontline-ready
• Desk any deal in the store in Tekion, especially used deals and deals with a trade, and hand off cleanly to F&I
• Coach sales consultants and run daily follow-up and appointments in Tekion
• Certify eligible units under Ford Blue Advantage and work programs through iNford
• Own used gross, volume, turn, aged inventory, wholesale and CSI, reported daily to the General Manager

What you bring

• 3+ years managing a used car department or desking at a franchise dealership
• Hands-on vAuto (Provision) experience;
  Tekion, Auto Alert and iNford are assets
• A record of growing used gross and turn — bring your numbers
• Valid OMVIC registration (or ability to obtain) and an Ontario G licence

How you're paid

$55,000 base plus monthly commission on used department gross, a monthly scorecard bonus, and pay on every new and used unit the store sells. Top performers earn above the posted range.
