Organizational Risk Analyst

Support organizational accountability at the Ottawa Police Service through risk analysis, governance, and continuous improvement work in Ottawa.

This full-time permanent Risk Management Analyst position supports development and implementation of the OPS Risk Management Framework. Working within Strategy Branch’s Business Performance section, you will evaluate practices, identify gaps, and recommend governance improvements. The position also supports training, awareness, and consistent risk management practices.

• Contribute to risk management policies, processes, roles, and tools
• Evaluate current practices and recommend governance improvements
• Deliver risk management training and awareness sessions
• Facilitate and document risk profiling workshops
• Integrate risk information into planning and budgeting processes

• Relevant four-year university degree or equivalent combined experience
• Minimum three years in risk management or quality assurance
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel and Visio
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management principles
• English fluency in oral, reading, and writing
