Our client is a respected mid-sized General Contractor deliveringplex Institutional,mercial, and Industrial (ICI) construction projects across Eastern Ontario. With new projects launching in early 2026 and a strong pipeline extending through December 2026, they are expanding their site leadership team and hiring an experienced Senior Site Superintendent.
This is a high‑autonomy role where you will work closely with a typical Project Manager (PM) and Project Coordinator (PC), overseeing all on‑site operations for major ICI builds.
Your new role
As Senior Site Superintendent, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of daily site activities. You will provide strong field leadership, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standard.
Key Responsibilities Provide daily safety leadership on site and monitor subcontractor and in‑house forces forpliance.Plan, schedule, and coordinate all on‑site construction activities.Ensure all work meets drawings, specifications, scopes, and contract requirements.Oversee quality control for workmanship and building materials.Ensure sufficient manpower and resources to meet project milestones.Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.Lead and mentor site staff, driving a strong team culture.Manage large ICI projects, typically up to $30M, across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.Collaborate daily with the PM and PC team supporting you.Provide leadership through the full project lifecycle, with current projects running through December 2026.What you'll need to succeed
What You’ll Bring 10+ years of site supervision experience in ICI construction with a General Contractor.Journeyman Carpenter experience is highly regarded.Post secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or related fields.Designations such as GSC (Gold Seal), PMP, or LEED AP are assets.Demonstrated experience managing ICI projects $30M+.Strong leadership,munication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.Excellent Englishmunication; bilingual (English/French) candidates preferred.Eligible for federal security clearance (minimum 5 years residency in Canada required).Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam.What you'll get in return
