Construction Administrator at BPA

BPA is seeking a construction professional with a strong background in mechanical or electrical systems. In this role, you'll coordinate and monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications. You'll work closely with engineers and contractors to communicate effectively, contributing to project success in the Ottawa region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications for large-scale work
• Conduct site visits and prepare reports for contractors
• Follow up on contractor drawing markups for as-built documentation
• Monitor schedules and participate in site meetings
• Resolve technical issues and interpret drawings effectively
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction administration
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Excellent communication skills, English required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
