Key Responsibilities:

• Operate backhoe for site preparation and excavation

• Safely navigate around existing underground utilities

• Interpret and follow utility locates and construction drawings

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance tasks

• Collaborate with crew to ensure safe operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating backhoe

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License; DZ/AZ considered an asset

• Strong understanding of underground utility practices

• Ability to interpret construction drawings effectively

• Criminal background check is necessary
