Health and Safety Manager - Construction Projects

Be the catalyst for safety as a Health and Safety Manager with BGIS, focused on construction projects in the Gatineau area. Ensure compliance and promote a culture of Safety Always.

In this pivotal role, work closely with project management teams to implement and monitor HSE practices across various construction sites. You’ll conduct inspections, lead incident investigations, and maintain critical health and safety documentation. Your deep understanding of safety regulations will guide the project teams in fostering a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site inspections to ensure project compliance

• Oversee incident investigations and recommend improvements

• Support HSE start-up processes and documentation

• Analyze safety data trends to suggest improvements

• Prepare safety-related reports and maintain records

Requirements:

• Relevant college degree or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 3 years in health and safety for construction

• Familiarity with applicable HSE regulations

• Certification in Environmental Management an asset

• Pass all required security clearance checks
