Project Coordinator

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall administrative and technical support to a large-scale construction project.
Primary Scope of Role- Support the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager in planning and implementing schedules, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements are maintained
- Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followed
- Prepare project documentation such as contracts, permits, and technical documents.
- Advise of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems
- Assist in maintaining and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budget
- Meet with Owners and Consultants, and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
- Monitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, equipment maintenance, safety and quality control
- Interfaces with project team, subcontractors and related third parties
- Monitors and inspects project site to maintain a safe work environment and provides leadership to ensure policies, procedures and standards are followed
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support the overall objectives of the company.
- 2+ years of experience in construction / project coordination
- Experience on MTO road construction projects and bridge building/structures is desired
- Results‑driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast‑paced environment
- Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business
- Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges
- Travel requirements: travel to various work locations is required
- Driver’s license is required
- Expected Hourly Rate: $25 - 35 per hour. The actual hourly rate will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
