You'll partner with construction leaders, HR, site teams, and trade partners to uphold health and safety standards. The position focuses on creating a compliant work environment while providing employees and contractors with necessary training and resources. Your contributions directly influence the culture of safety in residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate safety meetings with employees and trade partners
• Manage employee training and compliance tracking
• Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings
• Support onboarding and safety orientations
• Collaborate on maintaining contractor certifications and compliance documentation
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of health and safety experience in construction
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
