Position: Landscape Construction Lead Hand Role
R.W. Tomlinson is seeking a Landscape Construction Lead Hand to manage residential site operations in Ottawa. Ensure high-quality workmanship while leading a dedicated team of workers.

In this role, you will oversee all landscape construction services, ensuring that work aligns with project plans and safety protocols. Your responsibilities include reading construction drawings and using GPS tools for accurate grading. You will guide a team of 3 to 5, instilling safety and quality practices in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to achieve project goals and deadlines

• Measure distances and set proper site boundaries

• Perform and oversee installation of construction materials

• Maintain safety standards and train team members

• Order equipment and materials for upcoming tasks

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of landscape construction experience

• 6+ years as a Lead Hand in the industry

• Ability to work with hardscape installation

• Post-secondary education is an asset

• Strong understanding of safety and construction practices
