Position: Ottawa Estimator Role at Cardel
Become an Estimator with Cardel in Ottawa, where you will provide vital estimating services that enhance our residential projects. Your knowledge in construction will ensure accurate estimates and clear specifications.

In this position, you will develop computerized estimates for standard models while maintaining accurate pricing and specifications. You will also support the Estimating team with labor take-offs and collaborate with Sales Agents and Designers. Your skills will make a significant difference in the successful procurement of materials and subcontractor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain detailed computerized estimates

• Produce accurate material and labor take-offs

• Draft specifications for models and options

• Manage purchase orders and invoices for suppliers

• Assist with tender processes and contractual agreements

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction Management or related studies

• Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating

• In-depth knowledge of residential construction

• Familiarity with estimating software programs

• Excellent communication and initiative skills
