Student Project Coordinator

Position: Student Project Coordinator at Bird Construction
Join Bird Construction's team in Ottawa as a Student Project Coordinator. This internship provides a unique opportunity to coordinate construction projects while being mentored by experienced professionals.

During your co-op internship, you will work on current construction projects and develop critical skills in project management. You'll coordinate with sub-trades, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain project schedules. This role is tailored for students eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise work and verify site conditions

• Perform quantity takeoffs and layout site lines

• Create and maintain project schedules

• Coordinate progress photos and update deficiency logs

• Issue warranties and maintain record keeping

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a Civil or related engineering program

• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to adapt to frequent changes

• Eligible to work for Bird Construction
