Position: Senior Cost Advisor at Stantec

As part of Stantec’s Program Management group, this senior position demands a strong background in quantity surveying and civil engineering. You will manage cost assessments, prepare detailed quantity take-offs, and oversee estimates for a wide array of sectors including transit and healthcare. Your insights will help optimize project performance and support negotiations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bill of materials

• Review estimates at each design milestone

• Coordinate with other estimating disciplines

• Conduct cost risk assessments and simulations

• Present project cost reports to stakeholders

Requirements:

• 10+ years in a Civil estimating role preferred

• Technical degree/diploma or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of CIQS and AACE guidelines

• Proficient in MS Office and estimating software

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
