As a key member of Louis W Bray Construction in Ottawa, the Pipelayer will leverage 2 to 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction. You will install pipe according to project specifications and manage trench preparation with precision. A strong understanding of utility construction practices will aid you in ensuring high standards of safety and productivity throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install water and sewer pipe per project specs

• Prepare and grade trenches for pipe installation

• Maintain pipe grade using laser levels and survey tools

• Connect and secure pipe joints and fittings

• Conduct visual inspections for quality assurance

Requirements:

• 2 to 5+ years as a Pipelayer in heavy civil construction

• Experience with water main and sewer system installation

• Ability to read construction drawings

• Knowledge of trench safety procedures

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
