Construction HSE Coordinator

Position: Construction HSE Coordinator Role

Our client is looking for an experienced HSE Coordinator dedicated to establishing a strong safety culture in the construction sector. Collaborating closely with the HSE Supervisor, you will oversee compliance and promote best practices to ensure all workers can perform their tasks safely. This role requires a proactive approach to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings and inspections

• Monitor compliance and implement corrective actions as needed

• Develop and manage effective emergency response plans

• Provide safety training and orientations to site workers

• Handle permits, inspections, and safety documentation management

Requirements:

• NCSO or equivalent health and safety certification

• Strong knowledge of Ontario safety legislation

• 2–5 years of relevant construction industry experience

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver's license and current CPR/First Aid Certification
