Step into a pivotal role as an Expert Lead Estimator with Ellis Don, where you’ll utilize over a decade of civil construction experience in transportation infrastructure. Engage with teams to oversee bid processes while mentoring others.

As an Expert Lead Estimator, you will prepare and review cost estimates for critical infrastructure projects. Your leadership will guide a team in navigating the complexities of the bidding process, ensuring accurate pricing, and fostering vendor relationships for optimal outcomes. You'll also play a key role in developing the organization’s standards to improve estimating quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of cost estimates using bidding software

• Prepare for and conduct executive bid review meetings

• Mentor junior estimators through hands-on training

• Analyze and resolve cost discrepancies

• Maintain detailed and organized project cost databases

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Construction

• 10+ years of experience with transportation infrastructure

• 5+ years of estimating experience

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools
