Join M’Chigeeng First Nation as a Housing Maintenance Supervisor. Oversee essential housing operations to ensure quality and longevity of community assets.
In this role, you will assist the Housing Manager in developing maintenance plans that align with funding agreements and strategic goals. Your expertise in construction and supervision will be key in managing both daily repairs and larger renovation projects. Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you lead maintenance staff in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning annual maintenance budgets
• Ensure compliance with housing standards and policies
• Develop work order systems for efficiency
• Schedule and conduct inspections for upkeep
• Maintain preventative maintenance for housing units
Requirements:
• Five years of experience in construction or supervision
• Grade 12 or equivalent educational background
• Valid WHIMIS, First Aid, and CPR certifications
• Knowledge of safety equipment and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
