Ottawa Land Development Manager

Position: Ottawa Land Development Manager Role
Lead JLR's Civil Development team as the Land Development Manager in Ottawa. Engage with architects and planners to design vibrant community projects on a 12-month contract.

At JLR, you’ll oversee a team while contributing to innovative land development solutions in Ontario. With over ten years of experience in engineering, you are prepared to develop relationships and guide staff in their growth. This role is integral to ensuring project success, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to achieve community-centric outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily guidance to Civil and Transportation teams

• Coach and mentor staff with formal and informal training

• Engage in all project stages from planning to construction

• Ensure fluid communication between stakeholders

• Participate in proposal preparation and budgeting

Requirements:

• 10+ years in consulting engineering or related fields

• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary projects

• Strong collaboration skills with various disciplines

• Experience in community engagement and wellness initiatives

• Ability to recognize and leverage development opportunities
