Lead Construction Superintendent

Position: Lead Construction Superintendent at Matheson Constructors
Take charge of construction excellence with Matheson Constructors as a Lead Construction Superintendent. Oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring high standards of safety and project delivery in Ontario.

As a Lead Superintendent, your extensive experience in commercial and institutional projects will guide your leadership on-site. You’ll coordinate field activities, manage subcontractors, and mentor junior staff. This role requires an individual with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead field operations ensuring compliance with budgets and standards

• Monitor site productivity, costs, and timelines effectively

• Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relations

• Ensure safety culture is prioritized on all projects

• Manage site documentation and project closeout activities

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Construction Management or related fields

• Minimum 10 years in supervisory roles in ICI projects

• Expertise in managing subcontractors and multiple teams

• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and safety legislation

• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence mandatory
