Position: HSE Co-op Student at Bird Construction
Embark on a transformative journey as an HSE Co-op Student with Bird Construction in Ottawa, ON. This 4-month role centers on supporting safety initiatives and project management in a dynamic environment.

As an HSE Coordinator, you will collaborate with site supervision and project management to implement the Bird Safety Program. You’ll conduct safety inspections, support corrective actions, and lead safety meetings while making a significant impact on workplace safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support site implementation of the Bird Safety Program

• Conduct health and safety inspections regularly

• Document and post inspection findings at the job site

• Lead investigations into workplace incidents

• Maintain safety records and accident statistics

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Health, Safety, and Environment diploma program

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 with remaining semesters ahead

• Ability to adapt in a changing work environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Residency or valid work permit for Bird Construction
