HVAC Estimator at O'Dell HVAC Group

O'Dell HVAC Group in Ottawa is looking for an Estimator to enhance our sales operations. In this role, you will ensure pricing accuracy through takeoffs and product conformance checks.

As an Estimator supporting the Regional Sales Manager, your main tasks will include reviewing tender forms, generating accurate pricing, and collaborating with manufacturers. Candidates should have a background in Mechanical Technology or Engineering, bringing technical and interpersonal skills to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review mechanical construction drawings and specifications

• Provide accurate equipment takeoffs and bills of materials

• Liaise with manufacturers for pricing accuracy

• Prepare quotations through internal ERP software

• Communicate project updates with internal teams

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Technology or Engineering

• Previous experience in the construction or contracting industry

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability

• Valid passport and driver’s license for potential travel
