Lead innovative construction projects with CNL at the Chalk River Laboratory. This leadership role focuses on project oversight, team coordination, and safety in executing advanced field work.
CNL is seeking a Section Leader to oversee and direct a dynamic team responsible for the execution of strategic construction initiatives. Ideal candidates will showcase significant experience in leadership, project management, and technical oversight. Ensure projects align with industry regulations, safety standards, and organizational goals while mentoring junior staff and facilitating knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily leadership and oversight across projects
• Coordinate teams of engineers, planners, and contractors
• Monitor progress, safety measures, and compliance
• Review and develop project documentation and strategies
• Manage resources for effective project execution
Requirements:
• Minimum eight years in a leadership role
• Technical background in commissioning techniques
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Canada Labour Code and WHMIS
• Security Clearance eligibility with verifiable history required
