Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Inspector to support our construction and inspection team on major civil and infrastructure projects across Ontario. You will play a critical role in verifying field work, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring quality and safety, and keeping projects on track.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine on-site inspections of construction activities to ensure they align with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Review pre-construction conditions and coordinate with contractors to document field work and deviations.
- Prepare daily inspection reports, maintain photographic and diary records, and escale issues as required.
- Monitor contractor performance including materials, workmanship, permits, testing, and hold-points; raise non-conformance reports when necessary.
- Liaise with contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely resolution of issues and compliance across disciplines.
- Participate in site meetings, attend pre-inspections and walk-throughs, and support project close-out efforts by compiling final inspection records and punch-lists.
- Use mobile tools and reporting software (e.g., Excel, Outlook) to document and track inspection activities.
