Assess commercial roof conditions and prepare accurate retrofit estimates onsite for Bothwell-Accurate across Ontario and British Columbia. Use roofing expertise to uncover project costs.
Bothwell-Accurate seeks a Re-Roofing Estimator for replacement and recovery projects involving existing roofs. You will evaluate conditions, account for demolition, and support compliant retrofit bids. The work requires knowledge of commercial roofing systems, reading project documents, and planning contingencies for hidden issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Review plans, specifications, reports, and related project documents
- Conduct site visits, core cuts, and moisture scans
- Identify structural issues, water damage, and substrate repairs
- Calculate demolition, tear-off, and disposal costs
- Prepare detailed proposals with contingency planning
- Three-plus years of roofing estimating experience
- Specific re-roofing and retrofit project experience
- Knowledge of TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, and BUR
- Blueprint, drawing, specification, and roof-report proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and estimating software experience preferred
