The Trillium seeks a Political News Reporter to cover Parliament Hill as part of Village Media in Ottawa, Ontario. This role focuses on delivering standout political coverage for Ontarians.
You will be responsible for breaking significant federal political stories, working alongside the Ottawa bureau chief on impactful journalism. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit, adept at developing sources and securing exclusives while collaborating with peers on edits and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write federal political news stories for The Trillium's audience
• Cultivate sources and obtain important documents for news

Requirements:
