Yaqeen Institute seeks a meticulous, intellectually curious researcher for its content team. You will provide well-documented information for shows, podcasts, and video essays. The work combines academic research, fact-checking, evidence gathering, and narrative development to strengthen scripts and talking points.
Key Responsibilities:- Research Islamic studies, history, social sciences, and current events
- Gather evidence from journals, primary texts, news, and experts
- Verify claims, statistics, names, dates, and historical accounts
- Identify compelling anecdotes, precedents, statistics, and expert voices
- Prepare research briefs, summaries, and annotated bibliographies
- Pursuing or completing a relevant humanities or social sciences degree
- Academic or journalistic research experience distinguishing credible sources
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with JSTOR, Pro Quest, and advanced search techniques
