Dental Findlay Creek, located in Ottawa ON, is looking for a passionate, hard-working Sterilization Assistant/Floater on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be an essential part of the team by ensuring all dental instruments and equipment are disinfected and sterilized appropriately, and by upholding sanitation and infection control procedures and policies to empower dental providers to deliver safe care.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 5 days per week

What we are looking for

• Completion of a certificate in Medical Device Reprocessing or a similar program involving sterilization of medical equipment;
  Dental Assistant Level 1 is considered
• 1 year of experience is required
• Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Abel Dent) is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
