Senior Dental Ceramist

Full-Time, Onsite. - Compensation: $30–$35 per hour (based on experience).
A well‑established, full‑service dental laboratory in Ottawa is seeking an experienced Senior Dental Ceramist to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a ceramist with a strong artistic eye, refined technical skills, and proven experience handling complex full mouth and full arch restorative cases. The position focuses on delivering highly aesthetic, functional ceramic restorations in a quality‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate high‑quality ceramic restorations including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant‑supported prosthetics.
- Manage and execute full mouth and full arch cases with strong esthetic outcomes.
- Apply advanced ceramic layering techniques for natural morphology and lifelike aesthetics.
- Perform contouring, staining, and glazing to meet functional and cosmetic standards.
- Evaluate cases for fit, occlusion, shade accuracy, and overall quality before final delivery.
- Maintain consistency in shade matching, surface texture, and anatomical detail.
- Collaborate with digital designers and technicians to ensure accurate case execution.
- Adhere to established quality control and turnaround standards.
- Diploma or certification in Dental Technology (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Dental Ceramist (senior‑level experience preferred).
- Strong expertise in ceramic layering, staining, glazing, and finishing.
- Experience working with zirconia, lithium disilicate, and porcelain restorations.
- Demonstrated experience handling full mouth rehabilitation cases.
- Excellent eye for esthetics, color harmony, and natural tooth anatomy.
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team setting.
- Familiarity with digital workflows and CAD/CAM systems is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
