• Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral disease.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
• Experience with DentrIX software is preferred.
• Previous experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office setting is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
