Design Co-op; Fall

We are looking for a Coop student to support the Lead Architect and team on various tasks throughout the design and construction process. The position involves assisting with schematic design, design development, and contract documents, including floor plans, elevations, details, sections, schedules, 3D views, renderings, and VR walkthroughs. Additional responsibilities include contract administration, site visits, client meetings, and supporting design discussions.

Job Type: Temporary (full-time)

• Assist in production of schematic design and design development documents.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, details, sections, and schedules.
• Create 3D views, renderings, and VR walkthroughs.
• Apply architectural procedures and techniques.
• Perform independent architectural assignments under senior guidance.
• Handle contract administration duties.
• Attend site visits and client meetings, documenting conversations.
• Participate in architectural design conversations and exercises.

• 1 year completed toward degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high proficiency.
• Well organized with a proactive team attitude.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

• Hourly pay range: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour (Ontario).
