Creative Interior Designer III

Perkins&Will is seeking a Creative Interior Designer III in Ottawa or Toronto to revolutionize living spaces. Utilize your advanced design knowledge to influence exceptional outcomes.

As an experienced Interior Designer or Architect, you will manage complex projects from concept to execution, ensuring adherence to sustainability guidelines.

Your role will focus on developing innovative designs, executing contract documentation, and providing insight into material selection. Emphasis on communication and collaboration will contribute to the overall success of our design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute contract documents including millwork and layouts

• Influence design elements such as texture and lighting

• Conduct research on sustainable materials and furnishings

• Provide project analysis and area calculations

• Participate actively in design reviews and team discussions

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in interior design

• Advanced knowledge of Revit and visualization software

• Understanding of life safety and building codes

• Pursuing LEED GA and other relevant certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or related field
