Position: Clinical Role in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
CHEO is seeking a Clinical Associate Physician for its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This role entails in-house overnight coverage, critical procedures, and active participation in patient care.

The Clinical Associate Physician position at CHEO is key for providing overnight coverage and supporting pediatric patients in critical condition. You will be involved in implementing care plans, attending resuscitation efforts, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This role emphasizes comprehensive patient management and family engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver overnight PICU coverage efficiently

• Conduct rounds and implement patient plans effectively

• Manage triage and respond to emergency consults

• Attend code blues and participate in procedures

• Support inter-hospital transfers with the transport team

Requirements:

• MD or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

• Must be licensed to practice in Ontario

• Experience in PICU or critical care preferred

• English required; functional French is beneficial

• Canadian citizens or permanent residents preferred
